The management node coordinates metadata, storage and client services. This 2U rackmount BeeGFS management node is a flexible, dual-socket server with a wide range of CPU, memory and storage options to fit your use case. Modest CPU choices will be adequate, but be sure to assign enough memory if you configure management to use RDMA. This 2U rackmount features dual 2nd Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable Bronze Processors, as well as Quad-Port Ethernet in order to fit your needs.
The metadata service stores information about the data: file and directory ownership, directory info and the location of file contents. For small disk random access workloads, you may wish to separate metadata services onto their own node or at least their own storage controller. This 2U rackmount BeeGFS metadata node is a flexible, dual-socket server with a wide range of CPU, memory and storage options to fit your use case.

The metadata target is where the metadata service creates one metadata file per user-created file. BeeGFS metadata is very small, enabling low latency to improve the responsiveness of the file system, but you may need to add more capacity as your needs expand. This metadata target device is a 2U rackmount JBOD featuring 24 hot-swap drive bays and dual-expander backplane.
The storage service stores user file contents and allows one or multiple storage nodes per BeeGFS file system instance. Each storage node adds more capacity and performance to the cluster. This 2U rackmount BeeGFS metadata node is a flexible, dual-socket server with a wide range of CPU, memory and storage options to fit your use case. For storage node use, configure with high CPU core count and make sure that your network choices are adequate for the number of drives you will be addressing.
This 4U rackmount enterprise server includes features such as a corporate database, database processing and storage, an HPC architecture data center, as well as an iSCSI SAN. It also incorporates 36 Hot-swap 3.5" SAS3/SATA3 drive bays including 4 optional NVMe drives, Broadcom 3008 SAS3 AOC, and 1200W redundant power supplies.
The storage target provides additional capacity for the storage node. This storage target device is a 4U rackmount JBOD featuring 44 hot-swap drive bays and dual-expander backplanes.
The BeeOND flash-based storage target unleashes the potential of flash drives by providing a fast, shared all-flash file system for storing temporary data, providing burst buffering or removing many unnecessary I/O accesses. This 2U rackmount all-flash server features up to 24 hot-swap NVMe drives for fast, accessible storage.
