Under the Aberdeen Custom Assembled Rackmount Evaluation Service (CARES) program, we will provide a completely configured server and/or storage free for a 30 day trial assessment for qualified customers. We know that we have a price/performance winner with the Aberdeen line of custom configured servers and storage. We are confident that once you try one of our rackmount products, you will not only be completely satisfied with the evaluation unit but will choose Aberdeen to fulfill all your future rackmount server and storage needs. Here is a brief description of how the Aberdeen CARES program works:

  • Contact your dedicated sales executive or call in to be assigned one.
  • Configure your custom server and/or storage to meet your own specific requirements.
  • Agree to accept delivery of the rackmount device(s) under pre-approved net-terms (apply with your sales exec).
  • Provide a PO (purchase order) with the agreed upon price indicating the 30 day CARES evaluation.
  • Your order will be fully assembled and tested before it ships.
  • You test and evaluate the server/storage at your location for almost a full month.
  • At the end of the evaluation period you may keep the rackmount or send it back to us without incurring any charges to your account.
  • Once you decide to keep your personalized rackmount server and/or storage, your order will be completed under the agreed upon price and terms.
  • Should you wish to return your custom product, simply contact Aberdeen for an RMA number and return it within 30 days from the date of invoice. Your account will be promptly credited all Aberdeen invoiced charges upon receipt of the rackmount back at Aberdeen
