The XDAS P9-Series is Aberdeen's latest product with breakthrough performance over previous XDAS P-Series. Driven by new generation storage processor, the P9-Series is capable of delivering more than 1,800 Mb/s data throughput with a single RAID controller. That is two to three times better than any other P-Series can achieve. The robust new performance makes the P9-Series a perfect new choice for applications that call for extreme I/O or high data transfer, at the same time the excellent price-performance of the product line gives customers the best budget-friendly affordability.

The 4th generation XDAS P9-Series features the latest generation SAS 2.0 technology and implements Quad 8Gb FC hosts or 2 x 6Gb SAS ports as the host interface. Utilizing the most advanced technology LSI RoC 64-bit storage processor, speed performance, which is approximately 1700 ~ 2000MB/Sec has really been boosted over previous generations. The P9-Series can support up to 24 SAS / SATA II ports to solid backplane, when coupled with JBODs (via SAS Expansion port) can support up to 122 SAS/SATAII devices connected. Ideal solution for enterprise-class storage applications with SAS 2.0 built on parallel SCSI by providing higher performance, improving data availability, and simplifying system design. The SAS interface supports both SAS / SATA drivers for data-intensive applications.
