X30"
rackmount server features the
Multi-Core Intel® Xeon® processors utilizing the Intel
5000P (Blackford) chipset. Configurable
as a Dual-Core (Dempsey)
5000 Series processor, offering a new low price point,
lower power consumption or the higher performance (Woodcrest) 5100
Series processors. The performance optimized Quad-Core Intel® Xeon®
(Clovertown) processor 5300 series, based on the
new Intel Core Microarchitecture, yields
another 40% more performance in the same server platform and will only
consume a maximum of 65 watts.
New advancements and features to the Quad-Core Intel
Xeon Processor include; 65nm fabrication,
2MB L2
cache per core, up to 1333 MHz system,
and lower power consumption
to the storage server market. With the addition of SATA II
disk drives with 3.0Gb/s transfer speeds and
no RAID array limitation,
there is a vast improvement over the archaic
IDE disk drives and offers a great savings from the
over-priced SCSI drives.
Our "Backup Monster" costs
as little as 1/10th the cost of a backup solution by any
other company. This magnificent machine clearly
surpasses any server on the market. Included are
8 hot-swap drive bays,
dual Gigabit LAN, 64 bit Raid controller
and up to 32GB of the new Fully Buffered DIMM memory (L2

X318 can be
supersized via an external SCSI port
