The Multi-Core Intel® Xeon® processor servers, bring innovation, a new low price point with the Dual-Core (Dempsey) 5000 Series processors, lower power consumption and higher performance with the (Woodcrest) 5100 Series processors. The performance optimized Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® (Clovertown) processor 5300 series, based on the new Intel Core Microarchitecture, yields another 40% more performance in the same server platform and will only consume a maximum of 65 watts.

New advancements and features to the Quad-Core Intel Xeon Processor include; 65nm fabrication, 2MB L2 cache per core and up to 1333MHz system, quad-core support thus optimizing the platform for demands of multi-core processing, and up to three times the memory bandwidth and four times the capacity with new Fully Buffered DIMM memory (L2 8MB Cache), ideal for deployments requiring high computing density.

The 1U Stirling 128 utilizes, dual gigabit LAN Supermicro motherboard and comes standard with a 700W power supply. Included are 4 hot-swappable SATA disk drives with up to 2TB of storage space and is also available as a SCSI Solution. With Intel's newest (Dempsey/Woodcrest) based processor, it guarantees the most computing power and reliability in any 1U platform.
