Scalable Fibre RAID Storage

The Aberdeen XDAS Fibre RAID subsystem provides multi-lane Fibre host interface that overcomes the limitations of parallel SCSI to achieve enhanced performance, high availability and reliability. Using scalable DAS as a framework for building cost-effective Fibre RAID storage systems, the XDAS offers a complete scalable storage solution utilizing enterprise-class SAS drives, highly reliable Fibre drives or cost-effective SATA drives.

The XDAS Fibre RAID Storage subsystem is equipped with redundant and hot-swappable components to ensure continuous and reliable operation to offer comprehensive manageability and optimal performance. The Aberdeen XDAS can be daisy chained to each other to create a massive storage solution leaping past 1PB (Petabyte) of storage.

Aberdeen XDAS scalable Fibre RAID storage subsystems are widely applied in disk-to-disk backup, server-attached and as network data storage solutions in major industries such as data-mining, medical imaging, scientific research, security/CCTV, and digital media including video-on-demand, HD streaming, real-time editing and more.

In addition the Aberdeen XDAS-HD video storage solutions can deliver an industry leading 1700MB/s transfer rate in Dual SAS card configuration and up to 1180MB/s in single SAS card configuration. The XDAS-HD is designed to achieve untouchable performance speeds for high speed file transfers like high definition real time video editing or uncompressed 4K transfers.
