Press Release January 30, 2006

Double the Performance, Double the Core
Aberdeen Dual-Core Servers Provide Dual-Power in a 1U Chassis

Santa Fe Springs, California - Aberdeen LLC, the Custom Server Solution Provider and Supermicro Computer, Inc., a leading manufacturer of high-quality motherboards, have joined forces to deliver innovative high performance dual-core Intel® Pentium® D processor-based solutions to the SMB server market.

Aberdeen utilizes Intel® Pentium® D-optimized solutions to combine the best performance and highest reliability in any custom designed servers. Together with the superb designs from Supermicro, Aberdeen offers its highly flexible 1U dual-core Stirling 114 rackmount server as a solution for the SCSI or SATA market. The Stirling 114 server not only provides up to 2TB of pure storage, it also offers the reliability of a redundant 400W power supply. In addition to having a complete line of Intel® based Xeon® and Pentium® D Stirling servers, Aberdeen also receives exceptional service from Supermicro with quick turnaround times and flexible customization for its large project requests.

“Our new E7230 chipset-based products integrate the latest dual-core 64-bit server technologies into a single-processor platform that optimizes the price-to-performance ratio for small business or departmental office applications,” says Charles Liang, president and CEO of Supermicro.

Based on the Intel® E7230 (Mukilteo) chipset, these new Pentium® D 1U and 2U rackmount servers achieve new levels of performance while offering the high availability, compatibility and scalability previously available only with multi-processor solutions. The benefit of the Intel® dual-core processors is that they provide two execution cores in one physical processor allowing the platform to accomplish more in less time especially when performing multiple tasks in a single instance.

"A 1U server with a redundant power supply which doubles your reliability coupled with a dual-core processor which doubles your performance is unprecedented and was unimaginable just a couple years ago," states Moshe Ovadya, President of Aberdeen, "Basically, the Stirling 114 doubles your pleasure."

The Stirling 114 1U Pentium® D server delivers greater throughput capability to the entry-level, rack-dense 1U server space. Supporting the 64 bit environment, the Stirling 114 will support up to a 1066MHz Front Side Bus, 8GB of DDR2 memory, a PCI-X expansion slot, dual Gigabit Ethernet adapters, four hot-swappable SATA or SCSI hard drives, and the very impressive 400W redundant power supply.

Features:
 ~Dual-Core Intel® Pentium® D Processing Power
~2TB SATA II 3Gb/s Storage Capacity
 or
~1.2TB of U320 SCSI Storage Capacity
 ~400W Redundant Power Supply

Availability and Support:
The Stirling 114 is currently shipping with worldwide availability and is offered as a Stirling 114S, which is a U320 SCSI model and as a Stirling 114T which provides SATA II 3Gb/s capability. Aberdeen can custom configure any server to meet even the most stringent requirements. Aberdeen has a media recognized, industry leading 5-year limited warranty as well as a free 10-day trial assessment program with all of its branded server solutions.
